California Annual Cannabis Consumption 08/09/2018 Since 1971 the US Government has conducted surveys on drug use and the most recent version is titled the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) and included data for 2015 and 2016. The 2018 survey is currently being conducted and results should be available in the first or second quarter of 2019. The drug surveys look at the use of various drugs which include cannabis and the results are compiled in age categories such as 12 and older, 12 to 17 years old, 18 to 25 years old, 26 and over
